- Create Newsletter
-
First thing to do is create the document/notecase file. In this case it is called example.ncd.
Select File and choose Save As and provide a meaningful name like Puppy-Newsletter-Dec-2016
- Create a node
-
Create a node by clicking on Tree then select insert node.
You can also create child nodes by selecting insert child node.
- Child node
-
This is a child node of Create a node, node.
You can also make child nodes of childs and so on.
- Import a node
-
To import a node into your notecase file, lets use this one called example.ncd, do the following:
Choose File then import. Navigate to the node to be imported and click on open.
You should now see the imported node on the left.
Node can be moved up/down/left and right by using the shift key+cursor keys. You can also do the same using
Tree and Move node.
- Delete Node
-
Right Click on the node you want to delete and choose delete.
- Hyperlinks
-
The easiest way is to use the link wizard. That's the icon right of the rubbish bin.
Type some text like link to smokey01.com. Mark the link text then click on the link wizard icon.
Now paste the URL into the URL whitespace and click ok.
- Images
-
To insert an image, click the Insert Picture icon.
Navigate to the image and click on the Ok button.

- Colours
-
You can change the text and background colour.
Highlight the text you wish to change then click the text colour icon and choose the colour.
Forground Red, Background cyan.
You can also add some Bold and Underlining.
- Text
-
Unfortunately the free version doesn't allow for different fonts or text sizes.
You can always insert a graphic to achive the same results though.
- HTML
-
If you export to html it will produce many files. In otherwords all of the images you have used will be extracted.
By simply renaming the document to html works well as a web page in a single file. Always save the original ncd file though as renaming it from html back to ncd may not work.
- Help
