Burned it yesterday, starting to play with it a little bit today. I like having the Word already loaded. When I first clicked it, it wanted me to define setup (normal), but then it wouldn't accept any clicks, rebooted and now works fine. Haven't tried to add modules yet, I'll let you know how that g...

I always manually install to a new subdirectory and boot using grub, never bother with burning and booting from a CD. Since, everything appears to be working with a new save file, I have no reason to suspect a bad download, so I haven't run click-to-verify. Cheers, Jim Hi Jim. Can you point to a tu...

Hi pudgypup, I'd still like to know if it works in official Puppy 4.1.2 or later. Thanks, -TazOC I've tried Puppy 4.1.2 and 4.4.2d from Lighthouse Pup on 3 boxes: a Dell Dimension 2100, an HP Pavilion, and my home HP (less than 2 years old). In every case, the mouse scroll wheel does nothing. I hav...

Re: Logitech wireless mouse wheel
pudgypup, Does the wheel work in any Puppy 4.xx? If not, post on the puppy forum under Hardware or Users (for the regulars). Someone with more expertise than I should reply. See if your /etc/mousedevice reads 'input/mice' and /etc/mousebuttons reads '5'. -TazOC I get the same result in lhp312f and ...

Hi Tazoc I'm having pretty good success with lhp 442d on my desktop. I like the look and feel, lots to explore. One small issue, my mouse scroll wheel works in other distros (xp, mint, churchpup 3.01, etc.) but doesn't in any of the lhps I've tried (412f, 442c) It's a Logitech wireless. I've tried g...

Hi. Downloaded shep, looks great! I'm hopeful it will be useful as well. I've been using Churchpup 3.01 with great success on this box, tried the Concordia, no joy. I'm back to 3.01 after a short walk with shep to see how things went, if I can get internet to work I think it will be a great option. ...

I attempted a couple of the 4.1 pups, then fled screaming back to 3.01. My work box is an XP pc from 5 or 6 years ago, and the 4s just overwhelmed it. Glad you're still bringing the LW distro along ttuuxxx. I'd go to your website, but procon latte seems to think you're a porn site and won't let me w...

The simplest and surest way is to burn a Puppy live CD (or better, a DVD+RW) with whatever burning program you have available that will do it. Once you have a working Puppy CD, you can then use Burniso2cd. If you used a rewritable disk to make the first live Puppy, you can blank it and use Burniso2...
