The FreeBSD based OS's work, the Linux-based ones do not. With the exception of BasicLinux, which works fine. It uses loadlin to boot from FreeDOS. Read the entire thread, I even got Opera working on it, albeit slowly - don't expect much performance out of this box... Sorry, I forgot about that one...

Update: Also got DOS to boot from CF using the HP Tool mentioned above. So the successful CF boot list so far is now: 1) FreeNAS created from a linux dd or Physdiskwrite of the image 2) WinCE that came with it 3) DOS using HP USB Format Tool I tried this on random 64MB and 256MB CFs I had laying aro...
