Well, I reckon it's worth the punt - I decided against the AU$5-$8 /month subscription route for an upgrade to my 2018 purchase, and I paid AU$94 for the SoftMaker Office Professional 2021 Suite outright. That's licence for 5 concurrent machines, in any Win, Lin or Mac flavour. The Zotero integratio...

The beta has had an update - and the expiry is now extended to the 15th June. At least, that's what I have now, for Win and Puppy (Deb) versions. I had signed up for the first round because I was really interested to check out the in-built Zotero bibliography tool integration. I and others have been...

This is an image from a story of 3 crew-members from the cruise ship "Ruby Princess" being transported COVID-positive, into hospitalization in Sydney. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-03-30/new-coronavirus-measures-will-be-enforced-in-nsw-as-cases-drop/12101302 Interesting imagery. I feel ...

Right on, musher0, LNSmith... "Anyone who thinks that you can have infinite growth on a planet with finite resources is either a madman or an economist." - Sir David Attenborough. And, not meaning to fan the flames, I found this perspective - *opinion* - also interesting https://www.abc.ne...

Time magazine person of the Year 2019 Yup. Absolutely. Up there with Trump et al. Whatevs... Seriously, well-deserved in this case. Probably one of the key harbingers to help shift human collective self-perception from traditional "Consumers" to "Custodians". Treating the planet...

Hi memo - glad to see you persevered with your install of Zotero. It is one of my "desert island" softwares and I use it across all my computers, in both Puppy and Windows installs. I have been using it since it began as a Firefox extension. I am also disappointed to see the "panic me...

Hi ras - welcome to the forums :) no razzie for your query - your point is a really good one, and I recall that someone much earlier in the forums posted a 'how to' to have an entire thread presented on a single long web page - all the better for archiving and off-line research and reference.
