Hi, ttuuxxx,

I think you shouldn't disable screensaver. By doing so, pidgin will not be able to detect idleness.

Code: Select all

  --disable-screensaver compile without X screensaver extension (used to
                          detect idleness)

heh... virtualbox 2.0 just came out today Ya, they just upgraded to 1.6.6 yesterday. Crazy. 2.0.0 is a major release though. It has some new features like 64bit VMs, but It isn't compatible with old snapshots anymore, which is really a downside to me. Remember to shutdown the OSs in VBox before upg...

Just ...

Thanks for the comments.

I took some notes when i made the pet package, but unfortunately I didn't save it because of a software flaw (i am looking at you, tiddlywiki) :x. I will make a new vbox guest additions package and write a how-to next time when the new vbox is out.

Check out the Chinese localization package I made. http://puppy.cnbits.com/sites/default/files/chinese_pack-0.6.pet The install process is same as ordinary .pet package. After restarting the X server, you will get what the following image shows. There's another package, called chinese_pack_extra, pr...

@dr_willis, marjancek
Sorry, i forgot mention in the first post that this guest addition package is for vbox 1.6.0. If you can't login to X, remove /etc/X11/xorg.conf and restart xwin.
