installing into removable media
I need to install puppy into removable media, rather than dedicated hard disk. I have installed it onto usb, no problems, but are there any pro's / cons for sd card or compact flash. The only one I am aware of is that compact flash has limited r/w cycles. but what about speed / cost / anything else ...

How to boot Puppy 4 without text messages?
Is it possible to have puppy 4.00 boot without any text on the screen outlining progress, ie go from black screen at power up to the desktop? Maybe a "Loading......" string just to let you know something is happening?

As a long time VB developer, I'm looking for a similar development environment for puppy, but obviously not in VB. While VB does have it's limitations, it's an easy development environment, lots of controls, forms, make a setup.exe file etc. What is the procedure for linux? Has anyone made a similar...

i was browsing using seamonkey, (www.snotr.com) video clips to be precise, and seamonkey seemed to freeze. Was working fine up til then, had shown several clips etc. I had to kill the browser, but upon browser restart i was prompted to manage user profiles, saying the default one was already in use....
