I installed LAMP-6.16-5.1.35-5.2.9.pet in puppy 5 lupu
It works fine but I'm missing the control panel to start and stop the servers.
Is there a separate pet file for this control-panel ?
Like the one in Webserver Puppy (Hiawatha)

Solved the problem myself.
FollowSymlink was not working when the link refered to a NTFS drive.
So I reformated the drive to ext2 and now it works.

How can I make hiawatha serve pages that are on another hd like sda1
I tried to use a symbolic link to the files but
I keep getting 403 forbidden.
Something with permissions I gues but I'm not sure.
Could someone give me an example of a httpd.conf
I just don't understand how to do this.

After you've done the nvidia-xconfig from the console restart the computer.
Not just logging out and logging in. That won't work!
Restart and nvidia will work. Compiz will work also.

I realy love this pup. It has xfce. and compiz-fusion runs verry fast on it.
I will give the flashplugin pet a try though.

Just installed firepup but still xine pops up for sound playback.
Just like it did in seamonkey.

I figured out that pure-ftpd in dingo is configured not to follow symlinks.
So I went looking for a diffrent one and I found a pureftp.pup
This one has more options including the use of symlinks.
It even has a nice desktop-icon for start and stop the deamon.

After days I finaly got puppy webenvironment up and running.
Worked perfectly.
But today I got a problem
mysqld.sock is missing
mysql won't start anymore.

Went back to dingo 4 and all worked well.
I didn't expect the 4.1.7 alpha giving me troubles with nvidia.
