Add ons

@Nooby I have been having similar problems to you recently. I was unable to download or install add ons for Seamonkey. But found last night that my own paranoia was partly to blame. What I had to do to get things to work was : Click on "Edit>Preferences" Then expand the "Advanced"...

gxine bug

First, I have only been using 4.4 Alpha 1 for a couple of days but so far it looks very good. Secondly, there seems to be a problem with gxine (not sure if it is puppy related or just gxine itself). To get the problem: Save a video file to a directory. I have so far tried mov, wav, mpg, mp4 and flv ...

Also, Puppy mustn't include Flash or anything that is not free. That is bad for Puppy and good for corporations, who find another crowd of unwilling users. Alternatives exist. That's one of the reasons why free software exists at all. First and most important. This is not a dig at anyone, it is a l...

What you say may be correct nooby. It is just that the timing of the original post is a bit suspect. As it came not only on April fools day but also on the last day of the school term here in my state. Although we don't usually get this type of post Trolling the forum until the end of the first week...

Man that was quick :!:

The school holidays did not officially start until 15:30 hrs today and the first post in this thread was made at 14:57 hrs.

Guess either, pl9977 wagged the last day of school, or they are in year 11 or 12 and did not have any lessons today.

Check the pet test for 4.4 thread. I may be wrong but I think there was some mention made of a .pet that will open txz files in that thread. If not there then it must have been one of Technosauras' other threads.

Good luck

The only thing i'm not like about puppy is that you run it as root, i'm not used to that  While Puppy is still not multi-user by default, Pizzasgood created a version of 4.2.1 that had the option to become multi-user. I am not sure about 4.3.1 but I am fairly sure that 4.4 will be using Pizza...

On this forum there is no solved option you can select to close a thread. To mark a thread as solved you need to edit the subject line of the original post in the thread by adding something like: [Solved] [Fixed] [Answered] [Abandoned] etc to mark the status of the thread. The only way that a thread...

Welcome to the Kennels impert.
I think you will find that entry was written by a POM. So you can't really hold the misspelling against him. After all he was only one vowel out in the old list A,E,I,O,U. :D
