Finding out how much cpu a process is using
I only ask because I came back 2 hours later to my puppy machine, no windows open and yet the graph shows like 100% cpu usage? Edit: Ok, it's "top" someone told me on aim. NOW the problem; under the 'command' column, it's pointing to /root/mysql/var/uppypc.err. I don't have a var directory...

Where do I place a startup script?
So I found a simple startup script on some website that will start apache and mysql, and it says to place it in the startup directory. (Which is apparently something like /etc/init.d/web for suse) What is that in puppy?

How to have a C compiler without a full hd install?
Well I don't really want to do a full install yet, and I found this page: http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=22701 which was a guide to installing a compiler.. is there any other way? I'd like to compile apache/mysql/php. I have the sources

Viewing memory usage
How can I see the memory usage? I tried installing an applet that was supposed to go in the tray and display that but it never appeared; even after a restart. Is there any terminal command I could use?
