You installed puppy in a sub folder from a folder?
Puppy will only look 1 are 2 folders deep for the sfs files!
Puppy should install to /mnt/home/lupu528 and not /mnt/home/newdir/lupu528!!!

Have You ever used "POSE" (Palm OS emulator) ? It works in puppy.

I have Jpilot running in Puppy Lucid. There was'nt a pet, But install from Ubuntu's deb works !
