I thought it's the router. maybe it's the adapter. the xp pc has an zyxcel wlan usb stick. with wep.
here it's the zd.... module.
this happens:
wlan without wep on puppy 4.x
wlan with wep on xp.

I will try the ndiswrapper tomorrow.

here it is. brings command not found.
clicking on one of the sfs file brings and at the first time doing this
"... unable to unmount" or so
but the second click says mounting successful.
