Hi shinobar I struggled to get this (1.1) to work for lib gc flashplayer.so that's part of puppeee's chrome (it found the site but it threw up lots of errors whilst it was downloading) Can you confirm that this won't replace the gc version of the flashplayer which in puppeee case sits in /opt/google...

Hence why I was looking for a back-door to edit my existing files replacing 850a with 850b ? But t...

Hiya Yes got that firrmware file in my /lib/firmware I'm almost convinced that I need to teach the kernel that my product id, 850b, is the same as your product id, 850a. (I inferred this from postings on a French Linux forum) Is your dmesg from puppeee ? I saw the other thread where you said... I al...

Hi Thom Thanks I did something similar using ISOMaster. Got the boot dir in place. However the Remaster had allowed me to customize the flp-013.sfs to another name. So then during startup it couldn't find flp-013.sfs 'cos mine was called something else. Renamed it back built my 4th ISO and re-wrote ...

Remaster missing BOOT dir

See earlier posts by tlchost regarding remaster in Fluppy13... Loved the Fluppy13 so went to remaster ... After Remaster (Douglas') creating *iso then BurnISO2CD. However CD won't boot. It says missing /boot/vesamenu.c32 In fact the *.iso does not contain a boot directory at all. Is this a known iss...

Hi Jemimah Fluppy 009 running nicely on my old HP laptop with 768MB. Love Remmina for VNC client. Like above, on a ethernet only connection, I have to reconnect after every reboot. Always connects but must be manually initiated. Running frugal with a flpsave-009.3fs. This didn't happen when I was on...

Hi Nimefurahi Glad you got it working - sounds like those wifi waves have to travel a long way to the router! ;-) Pwireless2 is an application/utility specific to wireless (whereas the network wizard has a wider scope). I suspect it is better at handling WPA (forms of which I use). Depending on the ...
