Is available from the Ubuntu repo: https://ubuntu.pkgs.org/18.04/ubuntu-universe-i386/smtube_15.5.10-1build1_i386.deb.html but would need Qt5: https://sourceforge.net/projects/lxpup/files/Other/Desktops/LXQt-ydrv/Qt5/qt5-5.15.0.sfs/download could be tried ...

Many thanks

Also needs an internet connection to start....

Seems to offer nothing additional to using a web browser to go to https://web.whatsapp.com/?? i.e. it is just a dedicated web browser?

You also seem to need a mobile phone - but that's the way that Whatsapp demands. :?

Re: Whatsdesk - Whatsapp linux client

It's working in ScPup64 latest. Hi @watchdog Intrigued - downloaded and tested in ScPup64...... Needs GTK+3 ?? and even if this is installed all I get is a blank white window with 2 menu items that don't do anything useful. Does it really 'work' for you in a pristine frugal install of ScPup64?? I tried your <huge-5.4.44-pup32.tar.bz2> kernel and shutdown works too! That kernel was built for ScPup32-20.06 (actually comes with 5.4.46) with a different config obtained from Porteus Linux..... Go with whatever works best for you..... Would be nice to know what part of the config fixes your pro...

Please swap the kernel for that from UPupBB and see if that has the same problem.
I don't see the problem on my pc's so unsure what might be causing it :(

Not tested but....
rm -rf /usr/lib/chromium/PepperFlash
should work

no conflict

I have an old HP laptop from 2007. PS: To test, I made a kernel swop for Bionic 32 (swopped it with Tahr 6.0.5 kernel) and no delay. I just did a similar test on my desktop (2012 vintage) and........ the Xenial kernel was 4sec SLOWER to boot - 25sec as opposed to 21sec with the Bionic32 kernel.... ...
