I installed Mercurial-1.7.5 pet but, it doesn't become active.
The hg command in terminal comes back with not known, etc. The files listed in the pet are present in /usr/lib/Python2.6 directory.

Anyone using Mercurial? If so, I need to know the error or errors I have made.

Phoenix viewer and non-nvidia driver also works.

The phoenix viewer also works under Lucid Puppy. Other video drivers can work. I think as long as the video driver matches the underlying hardware, as opposed to a general purpose driver, there is a reasonable chance of it working, http://downloads.phoenixviewer.com/Linux/PhoenixViewer-i686-1.5.2.11...

Intel 965GM Display; openGM, SecondLife

The secondlife script runs but, the system hangs in a hard loop when secondlife commands to open a 1000x700 window. That is within the display limit of 1280x800 extents of the 965GM. Does anyone know how to get openGL to attach to the 965GM? The hardinfo shows no openGL for the display. The intel we...

I have downloaded and set up seamonkey 2a2, however, I don't know how to set up the absolute link so that seamonkey 2 runs from the browse icon. SM2 runs fine from /usr/lib/Seamonkey-2.0 directory.

How is an absolute-link made?

What is the procedure to update seamonkey to flashplayer10. The link to puppylinux.ca for the .pup is broken. The link follows through, but returns trash. Solution: Downloaded the .pup with firefox and then installed. Appears that seamonkey was opening the ;pet as a text file instead of invoking the...

I have resolved the boot of puppy 410 frugal and winME from the hard drive without floppy or CDROM. However, I didn't use the pup4dos method because I couldn't make it boot. Bruce, That is where I found the broken links. If you follow the links at page bottom to download a version of pup4dos zip the links fail.
