I always disliked seamonkey because the search button often failed and just got a blank Google page. What I do now is when I do now when I want to search is just hit the search button and then enter my search at the already flashing Google prompt, this works great and I now prefer seamonkey. I tried puppy on a macbook a while ago and had the same problems with the mouse being slow and generally unresponsive, also had a big panic over how to get the CD out afterwards.
