Thanks for the quick reply again.... I took a look at the links and different ways to use the command. I only really need it on VLC when running a video at the moment. So, I did a little snooping and discovered there were 2 different files for launching vlc......vlc and vlc1. Upon looking at the vlc...

AHA! Flash 440 fixed it and FF is working fine now.....a HUGE thank you. Although it is interesting that the link says this problem is for version .424 and earlier.....and .438 did not work either. Anyway.....version .440 is working great and avoids me having to allow flash for every stinkin webpage...

Hard to say without knowing which version of Flash, FireFox and Chrome you're using.... Well first....Chrome decided to start playing flash on youtube now, where it would not before, so I guess that is solved. FF is still failing.....it is version 35.0.1.....and says it is up to date when looking a...

Something new has started happening in the past week or so. I am now getting flash errors on both my browsers.....Firefox and Google Chrome. I have tried removing flash and reinstalling the latest version. Have also tried adding flash add-ons to FF with no luck. FF gives me the error that it has pre...

Aha! That is a lot better. The new pet works great as described. I was able to edit the file and create a shortcut with it. I did try clicking on the Make/Edit Shortcut without clicking on the new file icon and noticed it will not open on its own. However, it worked fine as described. Thanks a ton. ...

Thanks a ton.....that worked great for doing most desktop links. It still did not add a create shortcut option to the menu that pops up when you right click the desktop.....typically it is found under create new: XFCE actually calls it create launcher and it tends to be one of those things that I us...

Tahrpup cannot remove multiple apps with same dependencies
Well....I switched this machine over from Lxpup to basic Tahrpup and have been customizing and installing programs to try things out. Now I have a couple programs on the machine I would like to remove, however the uninstaller in PPM will not remove the program because of dependencies. If I try to re...

OK.....I just figured out how to change the single click to double click. I had to right click a folder in PCmanFM and open with Rox Filer....then I could change the single click in the OPTIONS in Rox Filer. Next, I changed the Preferences in PCmanFM to single click.....and all is right with the wor...
