It's weird. I got Compiz running just fine in Ubuntu Eee, but I tried many puplets with compiz and none of them worked with my Asus Eee 900A. Not sure what the deal is.

I can't get this working in 4.11. I have the sfs in the correct folder and in the bootup configuration, but when I attempt to start it up with xwin enlightenment_start it fails to load x and falls back to the cli. Any help would be great,

Has anyone gotten Compiz or even direct rendering working properly with the 900A? I've tried ripple and the guide here on the forums and X gets broken each time.

Does this slow down Puppy substantially by installing Gnome and Compiz? I like both of those, but not as much as I like Puppy's performance.
