How to use the Digipro graphics tablet in 4.11?
Has anybody used the Wizardpen driver http://wizardpen-drv.wiki.sourceforge.net/
in Puppy? I have a Digipro graphics tablet I'd like to use in Puppy 4.11 w/ kernel 2.6.21.7.
I think getting this thing compiled myself is sort of beyond me. --Karl

libvte.so.9 for gtkterm, where to find?
I'd like to use gtkterm, but it needs libvte.so.9. Where can I get it? specifically, this is the error: #./gtkterm: error while loading shared libraries: libvte.so.9: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory I searched for libvte, and it's not installed as far as I can tell. --Karl

It's looking that way, Everything USB I have works on Puppy, except for one zio CF adapter. I'm having really good luck. I have not found a USB to IDE adapter or box that doesn't work, I've tried 3 now, one I have and 2 borrowed. None of them would allow me to reformat the drive with Gparted. It wil...

Looking for VMware pup, pet, or iso
I'd like to find vmware server already set up for puppy. I have puppy 2.15 and tried a couple of times to get vmware server going using the download from the vmware site, and even following the instructions on other posts, ran into problems. I just have a couple of programs that won't run under wine...

You've got a point, even though there is a standard for the different USB versions, not all ports are created equally. Not all hardware designers seem to stick to the minimum standards. Also some MB's have only one high-speed usb port, and the rest are non-high speed. When you make a million of some...

The one I have has a seperate power supply. To reduce cords all over the place, I did end up just sticking one of the HD power connectors out the back of the computer. I did have a problem at first because the HD power lead came from by the drive in the computer, not out of the power supply, so when...

SSH -X very slow with xorg, fine with xvesa, why?
I setup a client machine and ran the xorg wizard, chose xorg, and "flat panel LCD 1024x768" and all works well except ssh -X. I can log in to the host fine, and start an app, but it draws the screen really slowly, and crashes if you click anything. Any help appreciated. here's my xorg.conf...
