Linux NFTS read/write annoucement
As part of the Linux-NTFS project, I'm happy to announce my contribution to ntfsmount and libntfs which resulted ntfs-3g, a read-write ntfs driver, capable for unlimited file creation and deletion. The driver was successfully tested very exhaustively for a longer period of time by many ways and met...

Nicer (IMHO) than what looks to me to be the standard XP background.
Good Work!

Puupy Review & puppy websites
Here's a pretty positive (If short) review of Puppy: http://aplawrence.com/Opinion/puppy_linux.html It was linked from tuxmachines so a lot of people may read it. A quote from the review "A HOWTO makes reference to an add-on file called "usr_devx.sfs" that gives you a C/C++ environmen...

Puppy 2 Hd install weirdness
Puppy works fine for me from CD and poor-mans install but with a 'full' install to HD there's some weirdness going on - neither sound or USB seem to work. Apart from that it's absolutely rock-solid. Even gxine now goes to fullscreen and back without a hitch! Good work Barry! Other minor points - - T...

coLinux -linux and windows together
Stumbled across this:
http://www.colinux.org/?section=home
Intesting way of running linux natively under windows. Basically it makes linux run as a process kinda like Qemu or VMware etc. but without virtualisation or emulation.
Perhaps Puppy could be made into a coLinux image?

Could you make this .iso available for download?
http://www.puptrix.org/
Puptrix is a site for hosting puppy variations.
How about a version based on 1.0.8? Would this be a lot of work for you?
Cheers

I've just upgraded my 1.0.7 frugal install to 1.0.8. (Downloaded .iso mounted it and overwrote vmlinuz, image.gz and usr_cram.fs) First thing I notice is the glitch around the start menu :( - see trimmed screenshot below Second thing I notice is blinky which is very nice :) I hope it won't be too tr...
