CHROME

Any ideas on installing the latest Chrome browser? I tried last night and it locked up the entire OS. I had to do a panic reboot with the power button.

Should Barry copyright Puppy Linux and then charge for it? If you don't want something stolen, don't put it on the Internet. :) Copyright isn't a dirty word. I'm not against copyright so much as the bizarre thing that lawyers have turned it into: Example: Susan invents something which directly impr...

Ray Kurzweil believes that in the very near future, even agriculture will be fully automated. These changes will require that "work" and perhaps societies are totally redefined.

"So if Cliven Bundy wishes to pay taxes or grazing fees—he should pay it to the Shoshone." It's my understanding that he has been paying fees, to Clark county rather than the Federal government because he knows that Clark County won't cash them. This man is an amateur con artist, but some...

Hmmm, everytime I have been underpaid, I either negotiated more money, or left for another job that paid more. This works well if the economy is doing well. I remember threatening to leave IBM if they did not give me a raise and they responded rapidly. Right now in the US, job hopping is a bit hard...

I can provide some trustworthy data about how many scientists back the current warming trend. I love the intimation that all of the scientists who back this are somehow politically motivated. Perhaps you're right, about political affiliation, but only to the extent that the majority of scientists po...

I had to have a voltage regulator inside the candy box. Did you use an 'of-the-shelf' regulator of some kind, or build one from discrete components?
