I was talking about full installations.
Running as root from the live-cd is OK in my opinion.

Will Puppy 4.3 have sudo by default?
It's not safe to run as root by default.

That is the network wizard i was talking about.

Can't restart network from the command line.

I have to change my mac address sometimes but I don't know the command to restart the network from the terminal.
In Ubuntu it is

Code: Select all

/etc/init.d/networking restart
but it does not work in Puppy.
I can restart the it from the network wizard but it would be easier from the terminal.
