New to Precise Pup
Hello puppy friends. Nice Puppy Retropup needs a new java. I checked ppm. There are many choices but they all look too old. Others I don't understand. I tried one and it had over 100 dependancies. I was afraid to load it. I did not see an sfs for it. Can someone help me figure out what to load? Pete

Want to use Multipup
Hello puppy friends: I want to use multipup. I am not a die hard geek. So I have some questions. Is this still very experimental or is it more stable now? The changes that are suggested for the pet for Fatdog by smokey 01, do those still need to be done? Or has that been fixed by making the pet in f...

Going forward
I am well aware that support can eat up all your time. I think you are wise to set boundaries. But none, is not the right amount if you want others to use your products. You may look into a feedback system or maybe develop one that sorts in coming issues before you read it. Then you could choose to l...

Ok, I think my savefile is crazy
I did some fiddling around.
Did a pfix=ram and made a new savefile.
New file is using the Xfce desktop. So I will move my stuff over there.
No Worries. Thanks for your efforts.

Who are you developing for.
I just happened upon your post by accident. Who are you developing for? Well, you used to develop for the non-geek user who wanted to use linux instead of windows on an older computer. I used and loved teenpup 2009. The one with the orange flowers on the desktop. I used it as my main operating syste...

Q5sys: Sharp eye for noticing that: Too bad there isn't a 625.....hum at least yet. Could it be a Freudian slip of my desire for a new improved super duper powered LH pup? Pussy and music
sickgut:
It looks like you are setting pussy up to work with music editing and writing.
Wonderful.
What version of Rosegarden will be included when you release your new version of pussy?

Re: Lighthouse issues
I want to use xfce windows manager, which works on the live CD. But lighthouse refuses to this in a frugal install. It will only work with Openbox. So I am not sure where the problem lies. I will send a message to Lhp folks as well. Pete PSS Any chance of upgrading to latest Xfce? Hi Pete22, In LH6...

version 0.16 on lighthouse
01micko: tempicon works fairly well in lighthouse which is related to slacko. When Installed, this version starts working without further tweaking. It even installs to the panel. However, the icon does not show. I can tell its there because it leaves a space between icons. When I click on the space ...

Hello Elroy,
FYI: I always move firefox out of my savefile when I set up a fresh install.
However, version 18 still corrupted it on two of the machines I am running.
One with carolina 05 and one with carolina lite 05.

Carolina 005
Elroy: All is well with my 005. As you probably suspected my problem was mostly user error. When I got the new download I did a manual frugal install like I always do, or so I thought. I have done it so many times, I just look for necessary files on the iso and move them over to the hard drive, when...
