What prompts an individual to want to 'befriend' a total unknown quantity from the other side of this dirtball, simply because a bunch of other strangers encourage you to? I'm sorry, but I just do not understand it. Names. For example, I have a "friend" on Facebook who added me. His name ...

As best I can tell, alive and well with a young family and a good job. He's not hard to find on the 'net.

Puppyluvr's Facebook group has 3883 members at this time of writing. There are regularly (maybe monthly) people posting there who have tried to register here but cannot. The problem has existed for a long time, perhaps 2 or 3 years. Bigpup wrote: Some email providers will block email from this forum...

No admins is a bit erroneous.

But, the rest is accurate. The most popular email in the world (gmail) cannot be used to create a new registration on the forum.

Mostly commenting to follow the thread.. But, you can play flash games using flash player, outside of a browser. And, I don't know how to do it, but in the past I have played flash games that are embedded into excel spreadsheets. Might be an option to get your games working completely outside of a b...

BSD works brilliantly - albeit with a couple of quirks here and there. It is included in Fatdog. Not sure of any other versions where it is in there by default at this stage.

OpenShot couldn't import any files without crashing. Don't troubleshoot on my behalf, just a note.
I have had the same when using video off my Sony camera. If I convert the file to another format, openshot doesn't die on import.

I don't know. I thought for RAID to work you needed two of the same disk, cancelling out your idea. I could easily be wrong. What are you backing up? If you're backing up a hard drive, IMHO get another hard drive. If you're backing up a save file, eg a few hundred MB or maybe 1 or 2 gig, a USB drive...

My experience with video editing is fairly limited, but I have found that disk speed does bugger all to the speed of things. Booting to RAM has great advantages, but ultimately, the CPU can only process things at a rate (generally) much slower than any disk. To clarify my experience, I have seen zer...

Killing a virus doesn't cure the sickness the virus creates. But, the best advice I know is that if you get the virus, you can inject the sanitiser and soap into your blood stream, and that will guarantee you will not die of the virus.

Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) is a natural occurring, soil-borne bacteria that has been used since the 1950s for natural insect control. It consists of a spore, which gives it persistence, and a protein crystal within the spore, which is toxic. That toxic protein differs, depending on the subspecies ...

My daily routine... It hasn't changed much. I run a hardware store, which is apparently an essential service, so I'm working every day. Without a picture, you only leave anyone to guess. My best guess is that is the desktop switcher. You have 4 different desktops (configurable to however many you like) You can run different apps or programs on each desktop, without getting in the way of the other ones. Particularly handy for playing...
