No NVidia drivers included ?
Hi Martin, I am running your latest version now again on a Athlon X2 3800 with NVidia 6150 motherboard graphics and it only makes 1280x1024 on my 1920x1200 monitor. The graphics chip can easily do 1920x1200 and XORG Wizzard also shows it, but then it switches back to 1280x1024... So did you include ...

Hi Martin, both Firefox and Chrome latest browserlinux versions do only work with Nvidia driver up to 1280x1024 in XORG ( also in VESA). But I have a 1920x1200 Monitor. XORG shows this also, but when it has finished, it only shows the screen in 1280x1024 which is 4:3 and looks bad. Can you please tr...

You can't use it in browserlinux unless you remaster it with a zdrive. At least that's my understanding of how the tool works - I don't think it'll split out the zdrive for you. I think the only puplets at the moment that will work with it are 4.4 and Puppeee. Okay, and how does it work there ? Ple...

http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=51552

Hi, I have several Pupplets in different directories on my C: harddrive, so I can choose uring bootup, what I which to start. I would really like to have a stable OS,which boots up in 5 to 10 seconds, which I just would use to browse the web quickly to check my email and also have the Geany file edi...

Can you please try to boot from Harddisk and see, if you also get 10 seconds on it or faster ? Just copy your vmlinuz, initrd and pupxxx.sfs to a subdirectory c:/puppy and then please post your menu.lst lines. Do you then also get 10 seconds boot time from the grub menu to your puppy screen ? Many t...

Why can´t we get something boot as fast as Xpud done with a pupplet like Browserlinux or simular puppies ? I really wish someone could post a description how to disable the copying to RAMdisk for browserlinux and speed up the boot process. It is okay to have the RAMDisk for USB stick usage, but if I...

Hmm, in my setup it always loads pup-431.sfs into RAM and that takes time. Also it searches a lot first for the sfs files on the harddisk, until it seems to find pup-431.sfs. Please post your grub lines from the menu.lst file, so we can have a look at how you load the pup-431.sfs file. Here are my l...

A few questions: How can we get it to boot as fast a xPud.org ? Can it be made, so that is just runs from the harddrive and not from Ramdisk, so it does not need to load so many things first into the Ramdrive at bootup ? Please see: http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=416054 2. on my At...

Instant-on fast-boot Pupplet ?
Hi, I recently downloaded xPud.org linux and installed it on my harddrive and it really is the fastest free linux I have seen lately. It uses a frugal method with a grub boatloader and if you install it besides Windows it will boot from the Grub menu in about 5 to 10 seconds, depending on your hardd...

Hi, does not get a WIFI connection from a RTL 8185 PCMCIA WLAN card to a Nokia 5800 Joikusoft.fi Handy-WLAN Router software. I am using the Nokia 5800 Mobile phone via the Joikusoft.fi Softwareware router as a WLAN router, but the joikuspot software works only in WLAn adhoc mode, not in master mode,...

Hi, I suceeded now to install and load during bootup also the Compiz Fusion. But it runs only smooth in LXDE WIndows manager, not in KDE. Maybe this has something to do with the NVidea driver ? I choosed latest NVidea driver in XORG Wizard and it also seems to have a bug in Youtube, when I try to pl...
