I'm having more trouble recently. My father, who will not listen to me at all, shuts the computer off the improper way from time to time. I mean that he turns off the power switch in the back of the computer. Now the sidebar in SeaMonkey comes up every time I open the browser even though I continual...

A Problem with Cookies?
There's been a large snowstorm where I live and the power has been flashing in and out lately. I have a DSL modem with Verizon. Everything is working fine on my computer except my bookmarks in SeaMonkey. I can bookmark pages, but when I exit the browser the bookmarks get wiped out. Passwords for log...

Cannot Access BIOS
When I try to enter my BIOS during the start-up sequence, when I press the specified key to enter the BIOS, the computer freezes. Nothing will work, and a can't input any commands such as 'reboot'. This has only started happening since I first installed Puppy. Could it have to do with GRUB? Any idea...

Cannot Post a Facebook Status
Now, this is certainly not an urgent issue, but a strange one. I am not able to write directly on my wall, or any other's on Facebook whatsoever. I'm not sure if this is a problem with the browser (SeaMonkey) or what. Everything else works fine, I just can't write in the text box. Has anyone else ha...

I just downloaded a .tar.gz Library for Adobe Flash Player v10.0.32.18. I'm running Puppy 4.1.2 and using SeaMonkey as a browser. Where do I put this .lib so flash items will work?

It's been quite a while now since i have posted on this topic, but now it's more important. I tried, when it was mentioned, to get into my BIOS and find a problem or a temp reading. The problem with that was that I could not get into my BIOS at all. When I used to run Windows Xp it was easy to do so...

How to use Wine? What is it good for?
I'm in need of a video editor somewhere along the line of Windows Movie Maker. Now I've heard a few things about running it in Wine or something of the sort. Can someone explain to me exactly Wine is, what it does, the programs it supports, and utility uses for it. I don't just plan on using it only...

Can someone give a me an easy to understand explanation of how to either turn off the temperature alarm of turn up the threshold? I looked at some of the things you gave me but they seem so complicated. I'm running Puppy 4.1.2. My computer has a good sized fan where it needs to be. I've blown out th...

Maybe I'm just dumb but the above link gave me something I cannot, for the life of me, use. I need something that will be able to input movie titles, credits and the like. Can You Mount a Zune?
I'm wondering if there's anyway that I could mount a Zune to my computer without software. I'm running Puppy 4.1.2 and I'm pretty sure the Zune software won't be compatible with Linux since, well, it's Microsoft after all, hahaha.
Any help at all will be appreciated. Thanks!
