Stardust BB posibilities in the future?
I really like Stardust Puppy LInux. I love that it automatically detects and configures the network settings, the ease of adding new desktop icons and configuring the panel. I am still learning how to make changes that burn into a new remastered live CD, like ROX filer settings such as double click ...

drive icons too low
I remastered the startdust 007 cd and now the drive icons are too low and the id text is covered by the lower panel but the icons are still visible. Anyone have any idea how this might have happened or what I can do to fix it in a new custom cd burn?

touch.facebook.com works but is still annoying to do.
Thank you very much for the advise. It does work that way but still it is upsetting that facebook would change in favour of MS Windows and block some services for opensource browsers. but for now, I can post. I still would really like to see a complete solution to the facebook problem though.

puppy linux unable to post status to facebook.com anymore
I am going to look into some of the suggestions listed in this string of posts but I know it isnt limited to just one browser. I have tried others and they had the same problem. Also, I do not know how it would have just changed on puppy as I do not save my settings in a personal file. I use the def...

Facebook.com doesnt allow status update via puppy 4.3.1
I know I have used Facebook with Puppy before. Now, for some reason, I cant get any of them to work on Facebook. The Status Field with the default text "whats on your mind" isnt allowing the cursor, when you click the mouse on it, to type in that box. When you do start typing, it acts as a...

Puppy 4.3.1 doesnt work on facebook.
I have tried the base 4.3.1 as I did burn my own puppy before and thought it was a mistake in a setting I burned to disk. It worked well in 4.2.1. It isnt the browser either as I did use firefox, puppybrowser, and seamonkey. I would love to run across someone who knows what the problem might be. I t...

Subject: Rox single to double click default
I was really impressed with the thought of Rox default being set to double click instead of the same old annoying single click. I was wondering how I would go about doing the same for my own remastered CD. I have been trying to figure out where all the defaults are for such settings as bookmarks for...

Problem with the default Opera browser
I dont think the beta version of Opera was the best idea, unless there is something I am missing...but anyway... First problem is that it says java runtime is installed, but it doesnt work. Second is that it keeps saying update available but it only points me to the 10.0 beta, which this is already....

BoxPup 4.21 retro is very nice so far.
I am really liking this BoxPup 4.21 retro. I was on PupFlux 4.12 for a long while as I dont like JWM much at all. I really like fluxbox but the Openbox has caught my eye and I think I am going to become as familiar with this as I am with Fluxbox. Hows about having JRE runtime java installed by defau...

posting visible screenshots
I dont usually do forums and this is the most I have ever involved myself in a forum but this forum is something I really feel drawn to. If someone would like to just explain to me how to post visible screenshots like the ones Steve did for his FluxPup 4.2.1 I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!!!

PupFlux 4.2.1
Awesome! I am excited to hear that you are already and just about done making a new release of PupFlux from 4.2.1. Maybe, if it is not too much trouble, make a stripped down version with no common apps on it such as I suggested a couple posts ago? Screenshot is kewl to have and the same terminal app...

Apologies
I am embarrassed. I just read up some and noticed I did post something similar to this last one. I will look for the Fluxbox pet pkg and see if I can get barebones to work with it. I think the rox desktop is messing with conky and pcmanfm when I tried it earlier this evening. I dont have alot of tim...

Fluxbox Puppy 4.2.1?
I love PupFlux. I keep going back to it from all my searching for a version of Puppy I can benefit from more than this, but nothing has kept me more than a day or two. I am wondering if there will be any future PupFlux versions for 4.2.1 or maybe a PupFlux Bare Bones, which would be very kewl indeed...

Not working correctly

I am downloading ...hold on..LOL, was downloading Cho...

Achoice of an empty distro and different window managers
IMO, I think it would be a great idea to make available the lates distro for download that only comes with a package manager and network wizard to download and install only the apps the user wants and not have to worry about preinstalled apps taking up precious space within the distro. That way, the...
