I mean from trying lots of puplets and the official versions plus a few WOOF pre relaeses, that so far, apart from Aspire One Puppy, pupitup, and the latest puplets with newer kernels 2.6.28 or 2.6.29 none of them worked for wlan without installing the madwifi pet. Well tempestuous solution worked ...

Try pupitup, wlan works fine on my AAO 150 since 6 months. Altough you need to hit refresh once in Pwirelessscanner, to see all APs. Or use the connect icon on the desktop for normal (slower) connecting. Download: http://pupitup.org/ You can also try Aspire One Puppy: http://www.murga-linux.com/pup...

oh yes, you will notice that there is no mention of global warming here, and that is for a reason: global warming can only be caught by sissies and those with soft brains. The only thing that worked from the above , was real poo, but it made a mess of things. Any other suggestion, wlan still does n...

Atheros 5007EG Wlan WANTED ( DEAD OR ALIVE)
I have an Acer Aspire ONE A150 laptop (or maybe A100) with the well know intel Atom 500 mb ram and 8 GD SSD hard disk with windows installed. I recently decided to install puppy on a usb flash to carry around my pc at work and acer aspire at home. The Wlan was working just fine , then all of the sud...

I'm absolutely no expert in this, but as far as I understand it, only the functions you need. For example, Nicolas works on NicEdit, a editor using gtksourceview. I tried to add syntax highlighting to one of the first versions. Using the original gtksourceview-2.0.vapi I could not use the function ...

Genie uses the same vapi files as Vala. For exmple Puppybrowser written in Genie uses /usr/share/vala/vapi/gtkmozembed.vapi. Mark thanks for the fast reply. Another question , let us say that I want to use only a small portion of a C library , do I have to declare all the function/classes in the VA...

Vala/Geanie C integration and Python
hi there , I am very interested in Vala and especially in Geanie as I am already a python developer. I was wondering how easy is for Geanie to use existing C libraries. I know already that Vala needs a VAPI file that defines classes and functions , but what about geanie ? If I am not asking to much ...

I bought an Ubuntu manual to try to become familiar with the terminal and the corresponding language, but alas it is totally illogical to me. It reminds me of my old trials with assembly language. A language for mathematicians and engineers. Though some might disagree (now that they have mastered s...

For your info I ran it on a pentium single core 3,2 GHz and 1 Gb of ram. I have pupply 4.20. The filesystem is Vfat 32. I run it on a USB FLASH 8GB. I see on my desktop...
