EDIT: Disregard this post. The Google Earth left-overs were in root. I just missed seeing them. Thanks Mike Walsh and OscarTalks . I un-installed Google Earth using Puppy Package Manager. Now, when I check Graphical Disk Map 0.8.1 there is still debris left over from the original install. The lefto...

Well Gang, My cup runneth over with lots of boot choices. IsoBooter (@ Semme - Now that I recall better, I've used isoBooter before with excellent results). Frugalpup Installer (@ Bigpup - New one to me). YAPI (@ Bigpup - Proves successful each time I've used it.). So, now it's off to the races to m...

Semme, what about YAPI?
In my ancientness my eyesight is declining. I know YAPI frames by memory. Reading all the instructions that go with Isobooter download and implantation is a challenge for me.
I've used YAPI to set many other .isos. I've had good luck with YAPI.

Remove automatic pupsave for frugal installs
ozsouth,
I'm choosing the Puppy Event Manager option.
Sky
Perfect! Thank you, ozsouth.Sky, could edit /etc/eventmanager & set RAMSAVEINTERVAL=0 (no periodic save).
Can alternatively, via the System menu, open Puppy Event Manager & change Save Session settings.
I'm choosing the Puppy Event Manager option.

Hi don570,
Me too! I was delighted. The machine also has a DVD player, so, I can make live DVD/CD's again. The memory card reader helps too.
I feel so lucky.

Hi don570 and all,
I have good news. This week I was gifted with a lovely old Dell Inspiron N7010 - 6GB RAM with Webcam. The machine took BionicBeaver-64 with ZOOM-5 and presented no issues. FatDog 810 also takes ZOOM but I prefer to run in root.
All is good!

How to reduce background noise during a ZOOM session?
Hello, :) Is there is way to eliminate or reduce background noise during a ZOOM session? I am running BionicBeaver-64 on a HP dm1 with 4GB of RAM. The version of ZOOM is ZOOM-5. The HP dm1 heats up quickly and the fan kicks on during a ZOOM session. I am guessing it is the fan that is causing the ba...
