Firedog borked something; how do I revert back to Firepup?

I installed Firedog yesterday, and my issues are:

1. Bookmarks are gone.
2. Java won't work.

So: how do I revert to Firepup?

...or would be simple to get around with the scroll wheel if the trackpad on this laptop didn't suck! However, I'll give that a shot with an external mouse. Thanks!

Dialog problem in Audacity

Hi, One of the pieces of software I use regularly is Audacity, and one important component is the compressor. The compressor uses a slider to set the compression level, but this doesn't render properly. As result, it's impossible to choose any setting between 2:1 and 10:1, because instead of display...

Thanks, Patriot -

The browser interface is working, but I still need to work out why the printer isn't printing. The relevant info is in the first post; happy to provide anything else that will help debug.

Oh yes, and the printer wizard won't start. If the printer wizard is gtklp, then what it says at the command line is:

gtklp: symbol lookup error: gtklp: undefined symbol: cupsLangDefault

Seamonkey - lost profile

Running Puppy 4.20. I accepted Seamonkey's nagging about an old version; installed new version, and it would no longer let me set new message filter rules. So I tried to revert to the previous version, and Seamonkey lost the profile. I have a backup, but Seamonkey won't recognise it when I copy it i...

Printing problem with CUPS: Connection Refused

Hi, I'm running Puppy 4.20, installed on the hard drive after successful testing from a USB key. In trying to set up a new printer using the "Manage Printers" icon, I get a "connection refused" message on http://localhost:631/admin. I am presuming that CUPS is set up, because htt...
