Sorry technosaurus, I'm kind of a linux noob. I can find my way around fine and do basic stuff, but can you maybe post an example of what this modified grub file would look like? I'd love to reduce the amount of time puppy takes trying to find it's self on this old computer. Thanks, Sonsum. *EDIT: O...

Thanks puppymartin, but I've already settled on Dougal's Remaster Script. I've found it far superior to all the others.

I've even included it in my own remaster, WookiePuppy.

Sorry for my delay, I was unaware that there were any posts. For the scrolling issue, I believe that that's a video card issue. On my ancient laptop, I fixed that by changing the video bit quality from 24 to 16. Pup-be-gone is missing a dependency, that's been fixed an will appear in the next versio...

First of all, thanks for all your quick responses. @Trio, thanks for the link. It sounds like RemaX is the program I need. Unfortunately, I'm building my puppy from 4.1.2 barebones and can't find the Dotpet for the life of me. I tried installing the tar.gz from the page you provided, but I can't get...

Is there any way to remaster Puppy without a live CD?

First of all, I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong area, I'm new to this forum and couldn't decide between here and the howto section. Anyway, I have an old Toshiba Portege 7020ct w/ 128mb of RAM. I run puppy off of a frugal install and I would like to share my version of puppy with other member...
