How do you edit the .jwmrc file
When creating a dotpup, how do I get the dotpup to create a menu entry in the .jwmrc file?

New instant messaging fix
I took the list that ZeNiTRaM gave and created a new dotpup that is much smaller. I also read through the the dotpup creation instructions again. This dotpup installs exactly where is is supposed to (/usr/lib) and places all the library files there. Download: http://www.puppylite.com/files/im_libs.p...

Re-master CD script
I just tried and had no problems re-mastering the CD. There are two possibilities. The first few times I ran the script, I read the instructions too quickly and pressed OK when I shouldn't have. The second possibility something about Geany that you should know. Geany doesn't automatically maximize w...

Possible solution
Here is a possible solution. I have extracted the seamonkey libs. When it asks you where to install, it will show /usr/local. Change the location to /usr/lib. Let me know if it works.

I would like to lend my support
I would like to lend my support to this cause. I speak Castilian and, though I am sure there are a lot of dissenters out there, I think Castilian should be the primary focus. Spain already has a thriving opensource community, to the point where Andalucia has it's own distribution: http://www.guadali...

It depends. . .
It depends on what you call re-inventing the wheel. There are only three versions of Puppy 2.02 right now. The are as follows: Mr. Kauler's - SeaMonkey Mr. Murga's - Opera Mr. Richardson's - Dillo As far as I am concerned, versions that are not up to date, don't count. Todd _________________________...

How I created PuppyLite 2.02
I created PuppyLite with Puppy Unleashed. Printing should still work because I included Gimp-print. I actually included everything, except: Abiword Bubbles Gemgame Gnumeric GTKfish Rubix SeaMonkey Xfinance I think the large size is because I left Inkscape in. It is easier to say what was taken out. . .
It is easier to tell you what was taken out: SeaMonkey Abiword Gnumeric Xfinance All of the games except the mine one The idea was to create a barebones version of Puppy that you can build on top of. Mark has two very good dotpups for doing this: MegaPup003 http://dotpups.de/puppy-releases/Megapuppy...

I was really getting frustrated. I kept trying to install OpenOffice.org and kept running out of memory to do it. Thank you!

256 MB Ceiling on memory w/ barbones 2.01r2
I am experiencing a 256 MB ceiling when using barbones 2.01r2. In other words, after loading puppy into memory, I am showing only about 200 MB available for use. The only problem is that I built the computer with a 512 DDR.

Another vote for NVU
I must also suggest NVU. If you are running a Windows machine, or have figured out how to get Wine working, NVUPortable is wonderful (http://www.portableapps.com/).
