Fixed it, don't know how / why though, just reinstalled my old icewm preferences file I've used for years and this time the tray icons are gone. Strange.

Thanks for advice

Does nothing except when you hover the mouse over it then it tells you the active interface and traffic report, and if you click on it you get IP info. Edit: Seem to have doub...

Hello Tazoc, I also had some difficulty with the Nvidia driver. Installed the "latest" from the installation menu and got a disjointed screen, lines at the top and the left side displaced to the right. Did a second install, this time just going with the normal xorg entry, then installed &q...

I've had some luck though, as a long shot I grabbed some old usb joysticks I had and what do you know they all worked with just joydev loaded: Logitech Extreme 3d Pro, Saitek ST290 and even a Thrustmaster joypad. Now I have to figure out...

Joystick problems

Can't get puppy 4.3 to recognise my usb joystick. Tried modprobe joydev which fixed it on lighthouse puppy, but doesn't work here. Strange thing is games running under wine see the joystick just fine, but X-plane which runs natively cant see it. Running jstest /dev/input/js0 just returns "no su...
