Teen puppy live cd doesn't load.
When teen pup live cd is finished loading the desk top is the same as 2.17 or 3.01. I'm expecting icons for the kde programs as shown in the pictures on the teen puppy web page. Searching in the "Favorite Applications" reveal only gnome packages. If it was installed on my hard disk would t...

I know it's supposed to work. It does in all the linux derivations I have tried, presently Ubuntu. So, it should work in Puppy 2.17.1, but it doesn't.

Burned 2.17 CD with K3b same as 2.16 but it won't boot
Downloaded 2.17 and used k3b to burn iso to cd. I did the same for 2.16 and that is what I'm using. Wondered why 2.17 doesn't. Ordered the CD as my solution.

Wifi by pcmcia card.
Will TeenPuppy support pcmcia wireless cards. My Belkin card works nicely in Puppy2.16 better even than Ubuntu. I don't need an OS that doesn't do wifi.

Washington DC
Love it or leave it. This would be a non-country without Washington DC. I'm guessing you're a young person that has no appreciation and little understanding of this country's history.

World English Bible
I like the KJV, I like the way it sounds when read, either quietly or aloud. It is not free. There is a bible that has no copyright and is totally free and that is the WEB, World English Bible. Just Goggle it. There is a copy available that is part of GnomeSword, which I use with the other study hel...

xorg puppy 2.13
When I reboot Puppy 2.13 liveCD the screen shows the tool bar at the bottom, the rest of the screen is blank. If I do a restart the screen is restored. When I shut down and later decide to boot up for another session the fault returns, a restart restores the screen. This problem did not show up when...

zdrv_213.sfs
Reading the forums for help to get pcmcia card operational and zdrv_213.sfs has been mentioned as the source for drivers for wifi cards. Is this true?
Is zdrv loaded from dvd when operating from ram?
Is an install required to get pup.sfs and zdrv.sfs?
Is an either or choice made during install?

Puppy and Ubuntu
When I try to look into pup_save.3fs when I am working in Ubuntu the error message tells me I am not the owner and will not open.
So, if I boot up puppy can I change the permissions so that I can open pup_save.3fs in Ubuntu?

"Disk Error 80" booting 2.13 Seamonkey CD
Downloaded 2.13 from ibiblio site. Chose puppy-2.13-seamonkey-fulldrivers.iso. Burned to CD using Burniso2cd and verified. I got this error message when I attempted to boot. Loading isolinux: Diskerror 80, drive9F, AX=42AF. I looked at the contents of the CD, eveything appeared to be present. I comp...

How to get online with LinkSys or Belkin PCMCIA wifi card?
PuppyOS 2.12 live CD. HP pavillion ze4400. I have two pcmcia cards. Belkin F5D7011 ver1101 and LinkSys WPC54G v3. With which of these cards do I have the best chance to get a reliable wifi connection. My connections are to public hotspots. The power light on the LinkSys comes on when I boot up, but ...

When Puppy multisession has bluetooth, and wifi for sure and Firefox would be nice, then I can carry my USB pen drive instead of my computer.

Linksys wireless-g WPC54G ver 3
The discussion in the wireless announcement thread covered a lot of points I don't think apply to my situation. I have the card installed in an XP laptop. I use it to log-on in the public library, Pinera Bread and the court house. All are free hotspots. To use them, I just click on the Linksys icon ...
