That does it, thanks. Still though if any one knows how to do without the frame buffer. I would be interested to know. I would use it as a fall-back.

Spent a few hours on this. Best I got was setfont. setfont's hight option I have not managed to get a useful result. I am writing this for my Nano Note. freememapplet_tray seems to not update it's state when one has zero space left. So when one frees up some space it does not update it's state. So it still says I have zero space left. Killing it and starting it fixes the issue.

No its not fixed. It's the same problem in v4. Fine to begin with but after ones installs addons like FlashGet it won't exit full screen.

Timidity uses software. The other way to play midis, is to use your sound card if it supports it.

I have no problems with playing midi files on my 2.6GHz one core processor, 1GB of ram computer.

I used the midis by Mick Rippon, a fantastic artist!
