5g
Real 5G will work between 2.5 -4.2 gigahertz. But, the current FCC is hyping 28-37 gigahertz where the range is "a few hundred feet" line of sight only. btw, ATT is already labelling some of their phones with some kind of pseudo 5g labels (5G E). It is the same scam as the 4g label they us...

firefox trr caveates
" Caveats TRR doesn't read or care about /etc/hosts In TRR-only mode, you might end up " held hostage " if you start up Firefox while behind a captive portal There's no way to exclude or white list specific domains" The bypassing of /etc/hosts is a very important consideration fo...

Firefox 60 or above is easy to set up using about:config for dns over https (doH) https://www.ghacks.net/2018/04/02/configure-dns-over-https-in-firefox/ For those with dnscrypt-proxy see toward bottom of this page: https://develope...

That is awesome. Was already using 1.1.1.1(non DoH), anyway. But, this is a convenient way to set and use secure DNS right in the browser. Seems to work now on v60 as well. about:networking#dns -------------------------------------------- btw, here are the two parameters to set under about:config ne...

EasyOS Pyro64 0.9
Hi Tigs: I booted with a 10 year old card reader tethered to usb port. Then used the uefi bios menu via F12 on this machine. I have heard of others having trouble with the "built in" card readers on some machines. So maybe somebody knows how to get it working? But, check through your bios ...

vid signal lost
I suspect it was started, but something was killing the vid signal during the normal boot process right at that stage. You ran xwin, without running xorgwizard, and got the desktop?! That's odd, that it didn't start the desktop before.
