Hi Mike,

I used Puppeee quite a lot previously. In fact I still have it installed on the EeePC 900's 4G internal SSD. I have two other Puppeees - one on an USB stick and the other on a SD card. I really enjoy the fun that the small netbook and puppies have brought me.

Have fun!

Hi simargl,

wlan0 is not up after archpup is up and running. I am using it on a Thinkpad x230. Its wireless wifi module shall be Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2200.

Any advice on how to load the driver module for this machine?

TIA. Like this Archpup very much. Thanks a lot.

Many thanks, Volhout and starhawk. I followed starhawk's advice trying to load module, but the module list was blank. I guessed my problem was due to corruption of system files on the SD card. I therefore downloaded the ISO again and did a re-installation. This has resolved the no interface issue. H...

Hi Jejy69, I have installed LXPup on one of my desktop PCs. It works great. Thanks. I also tried to use it on my Eeepc 900 today (running from a 8GB SD card). The only problem that I have so far is the wireless connection does not work. In Internet Connection Wizard, it says 'No network interface de...

Sometimes when I try to change directory to /mnt/home, no file shows up. It seems to be unmounted, but when I quit Saluki, the pupsave file can be saved properly.

I am using Saluki on an Eeepc 900

Thanks for this. It has been installed on to a 4GB USB stick and runs very well on my ThinkPad X220. EDIT: Forgot to mention - seems that it does not support the wireless adapter (Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205) on X220 out-of-the-box. I need to go to intellinuxwireless.org to download the driver fi...

Midori crashes almost every session. Fluppy 011, 012 and 013 If I move the icons for the drives (they are so low on the desktop that the second row of their name is not readable) they are back where they were before after restarting x. That sucks. Maybe some lib files are missing in your system. Tr...

Installation problem follow-ups / update: As advised, I burned a CD and booted with it into wolfe-028. The Wolfe was booted up successfully. From there I chose to save a pupsave file in a sub-folder for Wolfe on harddisk. After quitting Wolfe, the core files from the CD were copied to that sub-folde...

For frugal installation, four files from the ISO have been copied to a subdirectory on one partition (ext2 format). These files are: initrd.gz / vmlinuz / wolfe_028.sfs / zw028341.sfs The grub2 config file (under my main system linux mint) was then modified to boot wolfe. My computer specifications:...

Many thanks, nooby.

My graphic card is a very old one - ATI Radeon RV100. In fact I tried to load ATI when using xorgwizard to set up Xorg, but it didn't work.

I will try again because I really like the wolfe's puppy linux + xfce combination.

I did a frugal installation of wolfe028 to a partition and tried to run it but failed to start the X window. When I tried to set my LCD display with xorgwizard, it still didn't work. Also tried 'probe', 'choose' and even 'vesa' mode, trying to get it work, but all failed. I have installed Quirky/Lig...

After clicking on print, it should take you to the printing screen, after selecting CUPS-PDF it should go to a status bar while its preparing to print. Then it will bring up a dialog to pick which folder you wish to save it to. Is this all coming up or does it quit before getting to the dialog wher...

I have some problems with printing in O2. I tried to print to CUPS-PDF in Opera, or other applications like Abiword, but had never succeeded in creating a pdf file. I don't know where the output files are located. Probably the files have not been created at all. I have tried to re-install CUPS-PDF, ...
