Hello, I have needs to using DBM database with my Perl program under Puppy. I find that it's workedn't here. But under other Linux (non Puppy modeline) the Perl supports DBM 'in box'. I have need to operate using Fn+F2 for switching between WiFi and Ethernet interfaces... but currently it's wont work true. For example see best algorithm it with NM of (L)ubuntu or others... (So, I use Lubuntu for my eee since May 2010 successfully because it's true way and comfortable OS... =)

Seriously, the combination of such defaults and place for save location in the temporal folder is not good...
(I.e. it's true yasterday, in ~/.quikpet/downloads place, but it's poor default choose now... :))

01micko, last suggestion... :) Exclude please deleting downloaded pets from /tmp because: (a) it's bad -- do not permit any users to copying it to own pet collection! (b) any temporary files don't saves on reboot puppy. I.e. I mean just it, as this behavior quickpet, on my first post on this theme.....

01micko, -- the opera in not one package who I have analogically problems -- if I use quickpet for install only. It's begin at lupu-500 and pass several attemps to 503 (with many releses 2xx too). So, I use opera as i.browser permanently, and no one under puppy, -- installs it fine without described...
