Damn small linux 3.0 works
I tried the initrd.gz 10 secs delay and the usb device took a long.. time at the SYSLINUX prompt w/o any result. I think it must be a bug somewhere because dsl-3.0 works perfectly for me booting up from a mere 100MB Zip drive w/o any delays. See my previous attempts at http://www.murga.org/~puppy/vi...

Puppy 1.0.9 and 2.0 Fail to see installed USB
I followed the setup instructions to install 1.0.9 and 2.0 to my USB Zip drive after booting up from liveCD. Tried both options and successfully copied the required files and setting boot (from /dev/sdb4). Problem on booting: The USB Zip disk boots up on syslinux until it comes to finding the usr.cr...
