Tenda W311U & Racy 5.2.2 live CD - yet again

I have a laptop without an HDD I bought for dirt cheap. I am trying to use Racy 5.2.2 live CD which loads just fine though this is a Dell C860. Try pressing Ctrl-s to stop the scrolling and then Ctrl-q to continue. Ctrl-s means pressing the Control key and the s key at the same time. Is there a way to slow down the screen when displaying verbose information during startup?
