Solution: maintain pressed the shift key and shut off W10.

libudev

Simpler, with ROX go to /lib
locate libudev.so.0.11.1 and copy it and rename the copy to debudev.so.1
then download popcorn-time-0.3.3_beta.pet from
http://repo.mamalibre.com.ar/pub/puppyl ... 3_beta.pet
install it.
Works ok.

I installed Calibre portable in wine in Puppy Precision 5.4
The program opens good but doesn't connect with the Kindle.
The Kindle appears in the desktop ok.
Please, some idea?

Download the necessary codecs from
http://www.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/release ... 15.tar.bz2
Click it and extract in /usr/lib/codecs
I use Mplayer in Muppy
It runs ok including sound.

WiFi, HP, 4.12

I am using a HP laptop, Pavilion DV9000, and trying to WIFI connect . It has the ugly Broadcom bcm43xx. Until serie 4.11 all was OK, sometimes directly, sometimes using ndiswrapper and W$ inf files. But with 4.12 series it does not connect. I try the plain Barry´s version, the 4.12 NOP , BoxPup 4.12...

Sound trouble

Speaking of Muppy Mini 008. Running Impress the powerpoint files shows the slides show correctly but with no sound.
Then, I installed ppview.exe using the w$(wine) entry with same result.
With Gxine, Mplayer, sound is OK
Some idea?
