pet files in general [Solved]
Hi musher0! Guess I'm using gzip compression as I just hit enter after the questions. The lib file I'm compressing is surely not compressed ahead of time, that's for sure. That must have slipped out of my mind when I asked the question about the pet file size afterwards. Greetings, Feodor edit: Yes,...

pet files in general [Solved]
Hi all, I have a question about pet files. I have created a pet file for my Samsung printer. The biggest file inside the pet is around 2400 K. The total size of the pet itself is 1000 K. Yes, the pet file works! Is the difference in between just compression? If so I'm really surprised in a positive ...

Screenshot not working with mtpaint
Found this bug while working with EasyOS 2.3:
'/usr/bin/mtpaintsnapshot.sh' is missing.
I copied the missing script from EasyOS 2.2.11 to make it work.
On the copy below just take the .gz ending of and set the 'Exec'-Flags.

Hi Flash!
Guess you'll have no luck with your scanner.
http://www.sane-project.org/sane-mfgs.h ... ENQ--ACER-
Technical data:
36-bit
600dpi x 1200dpi
It uses a 600dpi ccd system
With win-98 it was Twain-driver compatible.

Looking for 7-zip
Sometimes ARM Linux images come with 7-zip compression. - "No, not ours."
As I was looking for '7-zip' forum member 'mikeslr' had a solution for my problem. You can look it up over there:

[SOLVED] 7-zip
Hi mikeslr, Hi musher0!
Great, it works.
Thank's a lot!
I needed 7-zip for my arm project.
Miko's ARM Buster 8.2.0 was short of it - now it's not.
I have added 'p7zip-full_16.02+dfsg-6_armhf.deb' from your link to it as well as 'packit' and 'uextract'.
Greetings to you,
Feodor

Raspberry Pi 4 B, 2 GB
Prior ordering my pi 4 I watched some/many yt videos comparing different ARM boards. I was thinking about using one of them as a desktop replacement. You guessed it by now a 'VIM3' would be the one to pick. But how many people would come up with further software for this kind of hardware? I decided ...

USB sound adapter
I'm using an old usb adapter to bring up sound. It works great. It's a LogiLink UA0053. The only problem is that it always comes up muted after the reboot. I tried those steps to bring up sound on usb - right click on the tray icon 'speaker muted' and select 'Full Window' - click on 'File' in the 'R...
