Want to win a prize?

A book, USB sticks, CDs - all of them are in the list of prizes for contests I currently run on my blog. This is not the first contest I run, and people can confirm - prizes are sent and received. Of course books and CDs can be about Puppy. Of course, if you find books about Puppy... http://goo.gl/g...

grimoire wrote:Hi! I've downloaded a full version of midori web browser and it crashes while watching in youtube.
From my experience (not in Fluppy, but in other systems) Midori is vey weak browser. It does not support many features which other browsers do.
Also that depends on version of Midori you're using.

Try SLAX or newer version from porteus.org.
Slitaz? Maybe little bit too old though. Have a look at my blog link below.

But maybe many can save on an USB mem stick. I know Slitaz can do that.

What other live distro are single user root from start?
Not sure, but maybe Knoppix can do this?

It appeared automatically in Puppy when I added my second layout (gb + ru). When I did the same in Fluppy, no indicator came. I think its name is fbxkb 2) If I wanted t...

There are some posts about Puppy - use a link on the right column to get them all. You're right, there are not many posts about Puppy, because my blog is about trying different distros. Puppy is just one in a line, but one of the favourites actually. ;) I have no issues with running Puppy on my olde...

Hi, 1. Every time I start Trinity, I have pop-up window "Session chooser - Kate". In previous version of Trinity (the one with PET file) I had error message about Kate instead. How to get rid of it? What can be the reason? 2. Kopete does not want to connect. Neither ICQ nor GTalk (on Googl...

fonts issue in Puppy

Hi,
When I open a file in Geany, I have squares instead of normal letters.
File in Abiword shows just block of black lines with different lenght.
What can be the reason? I think something is wrong with fonts setup. How to solve it?

I think TDE is Trinity Desktop Environment,
