The downside to Tex, LaTex, emacs, vim, is that they are so f..ing massive, that when you at last feel that you start to master them, you have to read up on a whole lot of new info to make some small changes, and then it is very easy to get lost!

I try not to be negative, but what is it that those potential members need from the forum? They are free to download everything posted in the forum, and can follow all threads. If facebook is so good, why can't they get their answers there?
