Make zl511332.sfs?
So I have a question about the remaster process.
What is the proper answer to the question "Do you like to make zl511322.sfs?"
Do I want the drivers in their own .sfs file?
Why would I say Yes? And why would I say No?

Bigpup, my computer has a P4 2.26MHz cpu and 1.5GB RAM. While using Puppy I don't have a hard drive. The video is an nVidia GeForce4 MX440 rev 3. Here is what I had done: * Booted from the Puppy 5.1.1 live CD, * Picked up the nVidea 96.43.16 pup and installed it * Ran xorgwizard and chose 1280x1024 ...

Custom background lost in remaster
When I remaster the CD in Puppy 5.1.1 I lose the custom screen background I had selected. What I get instead is the original /usr/share/backgrounds/default.jpg. I find this quite amazing, because I had changed the image in default.jpg to what I wanted. Not only that, I tried changing /tmp/etc/Puppyb...

Remaster problems in 5.1.1
I have been playing with Puppy 5.1.1 for the last week and am really enjoying it -- thank you for making such a useful system available! I am able to successfully remaster Puppy if by that I mean the result is bootable and mostly usable, but I have run into a few issues. The biggest one is that the ...
