Wary vs. MacBook Pro

latest Wary boots fine on MacBook Pro, but... - the trackpad does not work (synaptics issue? i tried changing xorg.conf briefly to no avail) USB mouse works fine. - no WiFi. it has a Broadcom 4322 card, seems the b43 drivers do not work for that one. don't know the details with trying to install the...

Orinoco WiFi kernel problem?

Hi Puppy! Just booted Wary 5.1.1.53 and got some kind of error (sorry i did not not get any log file or a readout of the error) but the system had some kind of kernel panic(?) after trying to load my Lucent Technologies Orinoco WiFi card. thanks for the responses. i'm still not sure exactly how to go about making a totally Free puppy, but I think I might attempt it at some point. as far as flash goes, that is the main problem i keep coming up against when considering completely Free software. thats kind of what i was thinking. the firmware stuff might make certain hardware difficult to use. maybe i'll look into it.
