I switched out server links on the first page for the ISO so now Puppy_Crypt will download from smokey01.com and there shouldn't be anymore errors or problems and you should get decent download speeds. It can still be remastered (the older one cannot though), however I don't recommend it as adding o...

Added MD5 hash in first post, still need to post full program list when I get a chance.

-Vicmz I'll get you a list of apps when I can.

-kooliepup I've tried Liberte' and I like the hardened Gentoo Kernel and security enhancements in it but I don't like the fact that they exclusively use Tor.

Proxy. I trust that if I use proxy then my ISP are required by the Swedish state to get them alerted? Only criminals would try to hide they would reason. I would not even know what a proxy is but have seen that word before. I hear so many people saying that only criminals would want to hide their i...

Just noticed your post, thanks and Merry Christmas to you too. I mainly came out with it because I was quite disappointed in Ubuntu Rescue Remix and some of the other rescue CDs that are out there. It is in use by quite a few IT guys that I've worked with in various places.

What?? This post is a bit hard to make sense of. What puppy were you using and what "sources" were you trying to download Wireshark from? You do know that there are multiple Wireshark pets here on the forums that work just fine right.

Problem with that list is that none of them are really "rescue cds". They are dedicated anti-malware/AV cds which I wouldn't really qualify as a rescue cd to diagnose and repair a system that is having issues unless you know for a fact that your issue is a virus/malware.

Code: Select all

ifconfig wlan0 down
ifconfig wlan0 hw ether xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
ifconfig wlan0 up
ifconfig wlan0 |grep HWaddr
Above should work, have you tried changing using macchanger?
