Reassign return/enter key function to shift key button

As Disciple mentions here, DOH! create a file, if it doesn't already exist, /root/.Xmodmap , then add a line with keycode 62 = Return , save the file, then restart the xserver. Some days you (I) just can't get the right collection of keywords together to find an obvious answer. Many thanks for that...

Hi all, I have Puppy 5.0 Lupu installed on a Toshiba Dynabook SS 2000M. It runs very well :)) It is the only OS on the machine. When it boots up GRUB2 commences but does not automatically boot into Puppy. It waits for some action from me. Is there a way of making it jump straight to puppy after a co...

Hi All, I have Puppy 5.0 installed on a very old Toshiba Dynabook SS 2000M. Though an external USB keyboard works fine, the keyboard on the machine does not. My kids love this and I'd love to be able to install it easily in Puppy (don't know how to at present) I've been installing Linux machines at my son's pre-school (P3s with 192Mb RAM - brilliant). My...

How do I install puppy on D drive of Win98 machine?

Hi 'official dog handler' (great title), I have two partitions, C and D. W98 is installed on C. The notes on the URL suggest loading the puppy version on C (but you can load it on D - it says that there are other instructions for doing this, but I can't locate any). Now, there is bugger all space le...

Sorry guys, I should have made this clearer. The puppy I'm talking about is this one: http://www.psyplan.com/banners.html?http://www.freeveda.org/linux/puppy/index (the above is one long URL) It's a zipped puppy to install on a HDD which already had Win98 running - exactly my position. I like puppy ...
