okay tried it out on the live cd with basic wine install and all is well,you might need to connect the emu10k1 midi in and out in jack or use aconnect to whatever number your ports may be.

Stand alone tiny NRPN slider for Awe and emu10k1 10k2

This is really useful also,it's just a small stand alone exe with a slider and midi input and you choose nrpn to control with the slider,the cool thing is you can run multiple instances and really do some tweaking to your awe or 10k1 :)

Got it :D it go's in the last line of /etc/rc.d/rc.local in another thread james bond shared a script to make puppy boot with no xwin because pfix=nox don't work on a full install and I had to edit rc.local with his script so tried the same thing with my "go" script and works great :D I'm ...

Okay tried,the script I need to run is named 'go'
I tried a few different ways to edit menu 1st in grub but go don't load.
Is menu 1st the file I should be doing this in or another??

Well you know,no worries :D I have plenty of space and the drive and did a frugal install on one of the partitions and it works like it should.
Still scratching my head tho,I wonder just why the pfix=nox don't work on a full install?
