Yeah, actually "Stray" works really well, especially as it could be considered Debian or Puppy "straying" from the norm.

I think that's pretty slick, borgbucolic!

Openbox is very good at doing this. I used to try things like devilspie and whatnot to get this type of behavior in metacity. Take a look at towards the bottom of rc.xml to see how it's done (rc.xml is very well documented).

How to configure my Windows key as a Super key?

Hello, I have in the past asked about binding the "PrtScn" key on my keyboard in OpenBox. I tried to get it to work myself- for hours and hours, looking through one document after another. Well, the answer seemed simple enough to someone who was able to bring their experiences & knowle...

maik.murks, The only difference between your puplet and everyone else's is that you clearly are trying to distribute a finished product, and the rest of us are just making crap up as we go. Since this is a thread for screenshots, whether you have released your puplet or not is entirely irrelevant. A...

ffconvert works great- plus there are plenty of bash scripts out there that for conversions like these- all of the ones i've tried had all the dependencies they required. There is actually an update to 5.2.5 that contains ffconvert (and some bug fixes)- you can find it in the first post of the offic...

It was exactly this frustration (well, except the dutch part :) ) that instigated the development of RexBang. I understand the idea behind how fixmenus simplifies the Openbox menu, but I found it limiting as well.

you might want to consider 'cp -fr source target' from the command line in such situations.

With the wars and atrocities your country has been a party to, even against it's own citizenry? My guess is that we are on the same side...

Just wanted to mention that i have never had a problem with gmail with Chrome, not a single time, and the desktop notifications work well too.
