Puppy 5.7.1 on Toshiba L755
Yesterday I burned a CD with 5.7.1 and tried to boot my laptop. Got just some varied horizontal lines during its attempt to load.
Is this a driver problem?

Is cold bad for my laptop?
I'm running Puppy on an old laptop which I occasionally take out to my cabin in the woods. I'd really like to leave it there and avoid transporting it, but worry about the effect of cold weather on the machine.
Is it safe to leave a computer in a dry, cold place where the temp might go below zero?

Dell Dimension 3000 audio just works in Puppy 5.25!
I could not find an Ubuntu audio driver for this old machine, so before doing anything drastic, I booted Puppy 5.25 and opened 'pcd cd-audio player'...and it works!

GRUB's "unknown" Linux distribution
The new Puppy 5.25 looked so good that I added it to my laptop, along with W7 and Ubuntu (many thanks to the developers!). When the computer starts and wants to load a system, GRUB offers identity for the first two but calls Puppy "unidentified" and I can't find a way to edit that situatio...
